Collective Efforts Publication

Collective Efforts is a publication from a research project by Rachel Botha, Husk Bennett and Leah Corbett in collaboration with Esker Arts. Invited to spend time at Esker Arts in Tullamore, Co.Offaly, to gather insights into the local arts scene and public engagement with the arts in the midlands. Through listening, sharing and exchange the project aimed to propose a meaningful and inclusive programme that connects contemporary art with a local audience as well as supporting the arts community.

This publication captures the process, research and method, including a commissioned word search by artist Husk Bennett and recipes from Cow House Studios. It’s free and available at the front desk in Esker Arts.

Hoping to build on this research further by actioning some of our ideas and proposals over the next year or two – watch this space!

A special thanks to Finn Nichol, Sheila Hough, Mary Ellen McCormack, Geraldine O’Reilly, Margo McNulty, Nasrin Golden, Sean Walsh, Lee Hamill, Aisling McElligott, Sally O’Leary, Cliodhna Shaffrey, Rosie O’Gorman & Frank Abruzzese at Cow House Studios.

Kindly supported by the Project Award, Arts Council, Ireland, Offaly Arts Office and Offaly County Council.

Copies of the publication are available at the Box Office in Esker Arts.
