Through Our Eyes - Offaly Traveller Movement Youth

Official Opening Wednesday 15th October, 5pm, by Martin Beanz Warde

Through Our Eyes is a mobile phone nature photography exhibition by Offaly Traveller Movement Youth. Guided by renowned nature photographer Tina Claffey, it showcases 25 images reflecting identity, nature, and cultural expression. The project empowers Traveller youth through creative exploration, fostering confidence, representation, and community dialogue. More than an art show, it’s a transformative platform for visibility, inclusion, and emotional growth within and beyond the Traveller community.  Three of these images will go on to be included in the Offaly Artist Exhibition later in the Autumn, also in Esker Arts. Comedian, playwright, and broadcaster Martin Beanz Warde, renowned for his powerful storytelling and advocacy, will officially launch the Through Our Eyes exhibition. This project is supported by Offaly County Council’s Creative Ireland Community Grant Scheme.

Runs until Saturday 25th October
